Goal Setting
Goal setting is choosing a result that you want to achieve and then making and following a plan that will help you accomplish it. A key to goal setting is to start with a realistic plan.  The best goal is one that is just outside of your reach, so you have to stretch and work in order to succeed.  Write down your goals and make a reasonable plan to follow them.  "Achieving great things takes great planning.  Excellence is never as accident."  Set goals that will help you achieve your best.  Colin Powell said: "If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop the habit in little matters." Set your goals that will help you become whatever you want to be.

If everybody would do this one thing, what a difference it would make! I have to keep reminding myself to set goals that require a little stretching and not let the routine of the day take over.
