Raised Garden Beds

Salter students in each grade level planted their vegetables in the raised garden beds yesterday. The students planted cabbage & broccoli. We would like to say a special thanks to the Outdoor Classroom Committee for organizing this. We would also like to especially thank Mr. & Mrs. Heath for keeping the gardens up so well!!

Educational YouTube

Ms. Gaskin's Kindergarteners are making great use of YouTube's educational site (http://www.youtube.com/education)! This particular video is helping the students with their sight words!!

Deaf Awareness Week (March 12-16)

Students and staff from AIDB gave a presentation for 4th graders. They were given "I Love You" signs (pictured above) and a copy of the deaf alphabet. Fourth graders learned about deaf and blind residents in our community. Thanks AIDB for taking time out of your day to come visit Salter school!
