Third grade teachers Mrs. Akers and Ms. Walls planned a day of fun learning for their students on Halloween Day. The students were divided into groups and each group was given a pumpkin. The groups estimated the circumference, weight, and the number of seeds their pumpkin contained. After recording their estimation, the students actually measured the circumference, weighed the pumpkin, and counted the seeds. Afterwards, the students enjoyed eating roasted pumpkin seeds.
