Scholastic Book Fair

 

It is time to get ready for our Spring book fair! The book fair will take place April 1, 2013 - April 5, 2013.  It will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. everyday. First Grade Field Trip

On Friday, March 1, 2013, we went on an exciting trip to Blue Bell Creameries in Sylacauga. Our 1st graders got to watch each step of the ice cream being made. After our tour, we were treated to our favorite flavor of ice cream. Mr. Brian Hutton from the Spring Street Recreation Center gave us a fantastic place to play basketball and jump rope after lunch. We had a great day.

Dr. Suess Birthday

Students took a fun tour through the alphabet as AEA President, Dot Strickland, read to the students in grades K-2 the Dr. Suess book, "Dr. Suess ABC." Thank you for stopping by and sharing with our students!

Faculty and staff enjoyed Dr. Suess "Wocket in my Pocket" day by using many creative ideas to wear as many pockets as possible on their shirts and pants. Good job students and faculty! You look great.
