Hard work really does pay off! Just ask the honor roll students at Salter. They enjoyed a fun day of bowling at The Anniston Bowling Center as a reward for making A or AB honor roll for the third six weeks of school. Keep up the good work. We are proud of you!

C.L. Salter hosted it's annual Black History Program this morning! Kindergarten taught us about different black inventors, 1st grade taught us about Rosa Parks, and 2nd grade taught us about famous Black American quotes! This program was a great success!

"A Medieval Fairy Tale"
Salter faculty and students had a wonderful experience visiting The Marianna Greene Henry Arena to see a beautifully prepared Equestrian show. Marianna Greene Henry Special Equestrians is a world-renowned and Premier Accredited center through the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. Thank you staff and students from the Alabama Institute of Deaf and Blind for your hard work.

Build-A-Book Night
Our annual Build-A-Book Night will be held at Salter Elementary School on Thursday, February 10, 2011. The time of this event will be from 5:00-7:00. There will be fun, food, and prizes. Please be sure to return the form to let us get a head count on the number of students attending this event!
